Almost Finished

I've almost finished this level - still want to add a lot. Some things to vary up the colour scheme as it's very monotone. But as a 'school' project this is what I've handed in.

Low Poly Cathedral in Unreal

Here are the first progress shots for the Cathedral I'm making. I'm using the high poly assets from my previous post and constructing low poly ones around them and then transferring details. Oh, and the cathedrals pretty messed up - will post the whole story later on.

highPoly Assets

These High Poly Assets are for a UDK level I'm working on set in an Abandoned/Destroyed Cathedral.










Texture and Lighting

Did both the Texturing and Lighting for these models. The Lighhouse Scene is from Jeremy Birns Lighting Challenges on CGTalk and the Character is the standard character from Unreal. I've also seen the Lighthouse Scene come out very desaturated in some monitors - this is not how it is meant to look.

Corinthian Column

Wanted to try out modeling a Corinthian Column. There's a building near our house with these lined up around it and they're beautiful so I decided to have a go.


highPoly Models

These were done for a class in college. Our time limit was around 4-6 days. There's a lot that I wanted to do but didn't have time to finish on them.

My First Post

Being my first post, I won't amaze you with my amazing poetic talent or grammerical(?) accuracy.
Instead, I will tell you what this wonderful world(ie.blog) is about. This blog was made for my lovely family (ie. sisters) since I am bored of sending them work via email.

I'll post most of the work I do up here. I am currently in college and aiming to end up as an Environment Artist in a company somewhere. I love what I do and learning more and hope one day others will enjoy the work I do.
